Conceptual Design

Your home renovation concepts transformed into reality

Determining Your Need

Your home improvement project begins with an initial consultation with Tuck Batch, President of Batch Building & Remodeling. Your conceptual design will then be flushed out and turned into a plan!

Your Ideas Matter

Batch Building & Remodeling honors your ideas, takes into account your requirements and desires, and makes suggestions and recommendations based on years of experience. By concentrating its services to specific areas of Hunterdon County, namely Clinton Township, Annandale, High Bridge, Lebanon Township, Glen Gardner, and Lebanon Borough, Batch Building has an in-depth knowledge of local building requirements as well as solid understanding of the style and design of surrounding neighborhoods. This knowledge enables Batch Building to adeptly integrate your remodeling project into your surroundings.

We’re All Ears

Tuck listens to you with an educated ear asking pertinent questions to gain a feel for what you want. From that initial consultation, rough design sketches are created. A communication exchange begins between you – the customer – and Batch Building & Remodeling; the design is developed through this communication exchange.

Why We Emphasize Thoroughness

Poor quality plans affect a project’s success. Unfortunately, plans that are of poor quality, not complete or inaccurate can cause significant problems in a project. The plans are used to communicate all the details of a project to you, the contractor, and any subcontractors working on your job. All the details must be included; nothing can be left for interpretation or assumed. If something is not included specifically in the plan, it will not be included in the finished product.

Architects

Batch Building & Remodeling is not a registered architect and, as such, cannot provide you with a final, detailed and “sealed” set of plans that may be required for your building permit. Batch Building does, however, work with a number of architects who will take into account the plans developed by Batch Building. The benefit of obtaining the initial conceptual plans from Batch Building is that you will have an estimate of the cost of the project based upon those conceptual plans prior to spending money for a final set of plans.

If you already have an architect involved in your project, Tuck and his team work to ensure your architectural plans are interpreted and followed. If a situation arises that impacts your project, Tuck will contact the architect, with your permission, to discuss possible changes to your plan. The bottom line is that Batch Building & Remodeling has the experience and expertise to turn your remodeling dreams and concepts into reality.
